Michael Ciavolino's final day. He was transported to Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD by McCommas. The hearse was emblazoned with the seal of the Navy. The grandchildren served as pallbearers and moved the casket to the chapel. The Navy detail honored my dad as a veteran and saluted as he was moved. The flag ceremony was completed with honor and precision before presenting the flag to my mother, Susan K. Ciavolino. Then we returned him to the hearse and we watched as he was lowered into the ground. Goodbye good friend, father, husband, and grandfather. We will see you again one day.

Those who wish to donate in Michael's memory may do  with the USLST Foundation or Harford County Right to Life.
